• chickens!  we raise happy, healthy, free-range heritage breed laying hens in the north valley of albuquerque, nm.  we sell young dual-purpopse hens (and an occasional rooster, too).  we enjoy helping people join in the fun of raising chickens, an important step towards a self-sufficient, sustainable lifestyle.

• eggs!  we sell local, nutritious, hand-gathered, free-range eggs.

• workshops!  we offer urban homesteading workshops ranging from cheese making to building your own solar oven to growing your own winter garden.
